Knowledge Before College 

Have a teen getting ready to apply for college? Join us for this one-hour virtual event on May 10, designed to help Jewish families in Michigan get their high school juniors application-ready. Three experts from our community will share helpful advice about navigating the college application process, writing an effective college essay, and locating funding sources to help pay for your teen’s higher education. 

 

Presenters include: 

 

Robyn Weiss, M.Ed., MA, LPC - How to best prepare and keep calm through the college application process 

 

Kim Lifton, President of Wow Writing Workshop - Tips for generating meaningful and outstanding college essays 

 

Cheryl Berlin, Loan Program Director of Hebrew Free Loan - Funding sources and process steps to pay for college expenses
